We have had the privledge of living across the "creek" from Matt and his family for many years. We are out on our back deck, which faces the front of the Sims home, at least 3-10 times per day. Every time we step out on that deck we expect to hear Matt and his friends playing basketball, we watch for him to jump the fence to come over to our house as the the dogs bark, we wait for him and his motorcycle or his car to pull up in front of the Sims house. For as many times as we have been on our back deck, that amount plus many more times is how often we think of Matt and his wonderful family and pray for love and peace for all of you.

I will always remember the ability Matt had to understand my own version of sign language. Our ability to communicate in our own special way fascinated others around us and is something I will never forget.
